For a first timer

Can anyone register?
Basically yes, while you are required to abide by the regulations and rules of Trans-Pro.
In case customers' evaluation of your translation jobs in "Business" and "Expert" categories continues to be low, you may receive less and less requests. Please start with "Light" category and make sure you continue to receive high evaluation from customers, then move forward to "Business," then "Expert."
Can I work from overseas?
Yes. Where you are resided does not matter in this cloud system. Please note though that operation will be based on Japan time.

About translation and translation fee

What is the rate for one character?
The rate varies depending on a language and contents. Each project will notify you the project-specific fee.
I have few experience in translation. Can I handle "Business" or "Expert" jobs?
In case customers' evaluation of your translation jobs in "Business" and "Expert" categories continues to be low, you may receive less and less requests. Please start with "Light" category and make sure you continue to receive high evaluation from customers, then move forward to "Business," then "Expert."
* You need to receive a certain level of evaluation from customers + certification from trans-Pro management office to become an "Expert" translator.
How can I confirm the fee for my translation jobs?
You can confirm your data, including past payments, in MyPage.
How will I receive payment?
You will receive payment through your bank account at the end of next month for jobs closed in previous months.
Can you send fee to a bank overseas?
Yes, international transfer is possible.
* For oversea translators, the transfer will be done once the total payment reaches 50,000 JPY (overseas remittance)
In the case of transferring without reaching this amount, translators have to pay their own remittance fee of 2500 JPY.
Can I receive payment via PayPal? If so, what information do you need?
We can pay via PayPal.

Cautions for translation payment

Any bank other than Mitsubishi Tokyo UFJ or the Post Office will have certain amount of fee taken.
Also, income tax will be deducted.
along with the special income tax for reconstruction.

* For oversea translators, the transfer will be done once the total payment reaches 50,000 JPY (overseas remittance)
In the case of transferring without reaching this amount, translators have to pay their own remittance fee of 2500 JPY.
* If you are a PayPal user, your fee will be transferred when it reaches 2,000 yen or more without transfer fee being deducted.

About quality and delivery time

Tell us about your concept of quality.
In Trans-Pro., it is difficult for be-cause' staff to check translation quality, so quality depends on skills and manners of each translator. If customers' evaluation of your jobs continues to be low, you will receive less and less requests.
What will happen if I cannot meet a deadline?
A deadline is a protocol you have to abide by for your customer. Unless a natural disaster prevents you from meeting the deadline, you need to meet it. In case you cannot meet it, please tell so to your customer with reasons, plus tell trans-Pro management office, too.

About on-line translation and trans-Pro (how to use)

I want to do many translations, is that possible?
First, register by filling out all the details. It is also important to appeal to the customers.
Polish your work and try to earn high evaluations from the customers. The higher evaluation you get,, the topper you'll be on the Search translators . You can also earn reputation by having a customer you've worked before appointing you.
I can't find my ID (photo) through the search engine.
The ranking is determined by registration info updates, evaluation of past cases, and appointing rate. You'll have to wait for your ID to come up.
The most efficient way is the earn high evaluation.
What can I do if I can't log-in?

Always finish and deliver the job you took.
